Leah Wilhite

Leah Wilhite has been working in the human services field for over 20 years. Leah graduated from Buena Vista University with her master’s degree in mental health counseling. Leah specializes in working with children and families who have experienced trauma. Leah has been at Avalon Center since 2019.
Olivia Harden
Office Administrator
Olivia Harden has been with Avalon Center since 2018 as an office administrator. Olivia received her A.A. in Human Services at NIACC. She is currently working on attending UNI to earn her Social Work degree.
Stacie Lancaster
LISW, NHA-AT
Stacie Lancaster has been a social worker and mental health therapist for the past 8 years with her time spent working as both a hospital inpatient mental health therapist and outpatient counselor. She has been with Avalon Center for the past year. Stacie works with both adolescents and adults, and has special training and skills working with parents whose children may be struggling with mental health issues.
Leah Weber
LMHC, LMHP, LBSW, NCC
Leah Weber has been working in the field of social services for over 30 years. Leah has been with the Avalon Center since it’s inception in 2002 as the executive director. Leah received her master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. She is proficient in foster care, adoption and attachment issues. Leah is a certified Adoption Competent Trained Therapist. Leah provides evidence based treatments such as EMDR and TF-CBT.
Kristin Brown

Kristin Brown has been working with a variety of youth for over 8 years. Kristin began her career at Avalon Center in the past year providing mental health counseling at schools in the office. She received her master's in mental health counseling from Buena Vista University. She has a passion for working with youth and trauma informed techniques.
